Home / Shopify Vape Ban / Export your data
Before the admin closes
Export your Shopify store data in 24 hours.
If your store has been disabled, your admin panel may still open, but not for long, and a frozen store locks you out entirely. Export in this order while you still can.
Why order matters
Orders are the hardest data to recreate, so export them first. Losing admin also kills the Shopify Admin API, which is the only way to pull your theme, blog, and redirects, so grab an API dump early too.
First
Orders
Admin, Orders, Export. Exports over 50 orders are emailed to the store owner as a CSV rather than downloaded directly, so check your inbox. This is your revenue history and remarketing base.
Then
Customers
Customers, Export CSV. Your list is the asset you rebuild the business on. Do not leave it behind.
Then
Products
Products, Export CSV, UTF-8. Full catalogue with variants, prices, and SKUs.
Critical
The API dump
Theme and Liquid files, blog posts and pages, URL redirects, product and customer metafields, discount codes, and gift cards are NOT in the native CSV exports. Pull them via the Shopify Admin API or an app like Matrixify before access ends.
Finally
Snapshot the storefront
Save a full copy of the live site (pages, images, structure) so nothing about how the store looked and linked is lost.
An emergency migration includes this export as day one. We pull everything that can be saved, then rebuild you on WooCommerce.
